“Balaam was a fantastic guide — both friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We visited several different sites, from the Education Ministry to the Palacio de las Bellas Artes and Almeida Park. I feel that Balaam tailored what we saw to what I said I was interested in. But at the same time his knowledge of the artistic motifs, the secrets in many of the paintings, and in particular the indigenous cultural and religious themes that had shaped Diego Rivera's work was really new to me. The murals themselves were really impressive and steeped in rich history. This is an unmissable tour if you come to Mexico City.”

“The good things first: The private driver was superb and worth the extra money! He didn't speak any English however his Attitude was first class! Overall: The Pyramids are certainly worth a visit. However, most of the other parts of this experience were below expectations. They take you to a Tourist shop and the guide didn't have a clue about the Pyramids. We figured this out when we visited the Anthropology Museum 3 days later. Therefore, visit the Museum first and then try - if possible - take a private car and driver to visit the Pyramides yourself (Might not be possible to protect the many jobs that are connected…”

That explanation provided a great context for what we were to see later. She also manged time very well so that we covered all planned places. A word of caution> do not expect in-depth visits of any of the destination; each of them would require the entire duration of the tour or more.”

George planned out a great itinerary and kept us moving, but with plenty of time to stop and enjoy the sites. I appreciated that George would explain a site, and then give us some time as a couple to go in on our own and explore. We did this at several locations including the several churches we saw.
