“Of course there is lots of excellent food but our guide Germán made the whole tour. He is from the neighbourhood and was clearly friends with the restaurants and cafes we visited. I felt the chef's gave a little extra to the dishes for him as he is so invested in the Polanco food scene. He also wrote down all the places we went to, the menus, a few of his own recipes and general CDMX recommendations, so at the end of the tour we had a record. “This is a great experience, we had the luxury of doing our tour with Stephanie who is amazing at describing the various food from different regions of Mexico. She is knowledgeable with Mexico history and the ingredients to each terrific flavors you get to try and eat. All the dishes were delicious, very different than what you think Mexican food is all about (burritos, tacos, enchiladas). Your taste buds will be blown away by the 4th of 6th restaurants you try. Oh and btw Stephanie's English is very good!”

“The tour was super cool ! It was a great learning experience. The tour guide was super friendly and knowledgeable. I didn’t know much about mezcal and tequila but now I do ! I especially enjoyed the wall of bottles filled with mezcal and tequila. The art and history were amazing. Then at the end of the tour I got to try some great options for mezcal and tequila. The guide was really helpful giving me tips and descriptions of the various options and the additives. I definitely enjoyed the shot options every shot had its own little magic.”
