Puebla, Cholula and Tonantzintla in one day from Mexico City with round-trip transport, guided stops, and optional lunch.

“Very good ,Alex the guide was great. The pyramid was different and exotic not like all the others. The walk around Pueblo was interesting but don’t miss the cathedral. It’s wonderful and the best cathedral I’ve been to in the americas and frankly rivals if not surpasses the many I’ve been to in Europe. I was the only one in my group to sign up for lunch. The others made a mistake. The mole sauce was exceptional.”

A long but rewarding Puebla and Cholula day trip from Mexico City with hotel pickup, a bilingual guide, and major churches plus the Great Pyramid.

“The hotel pick up worked perfectly with both driver and guide eager to answer questions about things we saw along the way to the assembly point. The drive to Puebla was about 2+ hours each way and took us through a part of Mexico City we won't rush to but accentuated the sheer size and scope of one of the largest cities in the world. Once we left the valley, we drove on a highway that took us through pine forests and evidence of multiple wildland fires before dropping down into the Puebla area. The tour planned a rest break in both directions at the 80-90 minute mark - essential…”

“Loved this trip. The whole team was responsive and helpful. The tour was well planned. All the stops were interesting and I learned a lot from our guide Humberto. He was fantastic and he and our driver worked well as a team. Humberto gave guidance in Spanish and English seamlessly. He answered all our questions patiently and completely. He did a good job explaining stuff during the bus ride to Puebla. Be sure to sit up front if you want to catch every word. Overall, I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to spend some time in beautiful colonial Puebla and at the awesome Cholula.”

“This package was well put together on the whole I thought and covered as much as possible in that time. Be prepared for long days with a fair bit of travelling. All but one of my travelling companions each day were Spanish speakers but the bilingual guides ensured we got all the information during the tours on 3 out of the 4 tour days. On the half day I was the only English speaker and the guide struggled with limited English very apologetically and I struggled with limited Spanish. We did not seem to cover all that was indicated in the blurb and that day was a little disappointing especially…”

Overall it was a good tour to explore Puebla, Cholula and the scenic landscape with the backdrop of volcanoes. Highly recommended!”

Puebla and Cholula day trip from Mexico City with a max-15 group, included tickets, and guided cathedral-and-church stops from 9am.

“I purchased 6 tickets for our group. I reached out several times to discover the details of this trip and received no responses until I asked Viator to confirm. PIckup up and transport is about what you get. We were given 50 minutes to explore Choula with an uninterested guide. The guide stops and talks so by the time you reach the summit of the church, one's time is very limited. Our group wanted to see the pyramid below, but the guide didn't. While the tour includes an entry ticket, we were not given one. Our group and others from the van, purchased our tickets individually. We rushed through the…”

“Awesome trip, pick up by my hotel. The ride was not bad at all, we had a pit stop and then off to Cholula, we got about an hour to explore the church, wish it was a bit more but in return we got to see La Capilla which was amazing. We got to walk eat and around Puebla. We got an hour of free time and another pit stop on our way back. It was a nice introduction to Puebla. Definitely will go back to further explore. We had Carlos as our guide and Ricardo as our driver. Carlos was informative and respectful of everyone.”

“It was a long day of excursion which I expected. But I'm very disappointed by a couple of things: (1) We didn't visit the Cholula pyramid (2) We only stayed in Cholula for 1 hour instead of 2 hours. Basically, don't advertise something that you can't honor in the actual tour.”

We lost time and had to skip Tonantzintla, and reduced sightseeing in Puebla. The way back had also taken over 3 hours Clyde to another accident on the road. Overall, disappointing.”

“This tour was a bucket-list, sentimental one for our family, and it was absolutely wonderful. Ulises made contact before picking up at our hotel and he was right on schedule. We had to change vehicles, which we were happy about because the first van was not very pleasant. From the moment we met him, Ulises impressed us with his calm demeanor and incredible knowledge of Mexico’s history and culture, both past and present. The drive to Cholula took about three hours due to road work, but Ulises kept us engaged and entertained the entire way. As we climbed to elevations above 10,000 ft, something we Floridians definitely felt, he even…”
